The Cable Saver is an original invention and design by Bubblebee Industries that dramatically reduces the cost of repairs of Lavalier microphone cables, connectors and transmitters while at the same time reducing cable friction noise to a very minimum.
SO HOW DOES IT WORK?
Put your Lavalier microphone cable through one of the rubber eyes of the Cable Saver. Wind the cable tight around the middle 3-4 times and through the rubber eye in the other end of the Cable Saver. That’s it.
Now, if you drop the transmitter or the microphone cable gets caught in something, the cable saver will act as a spring allowing for a soft fall that will relieve the strain on your cable and save your equipment.
An added benefit is that the Cable Saver reduces the cable friction noise so drastically that the noise almost disappears. That means no more scratching and rattling noises when someone accidentally touches the microphone cable.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Each package comes with four Cable Savers – enough to save 2-4 microphones.
They are made of durable black rubber that always comes back to its’ original form. We suggest you mount The Cable Saver indoors and under calm conditions since it is a rather small object.

Nicotine Yellow ageing spray is a fine mist semi-transparent spray dye that makes things look dirty and old, or aged. Dirty yellow colour. The spray is water soluble and can be smeared and reworked by wetting with water. Fast drying. Ozone friendly.
Nicotine yellow – Light dirty Yellow/Brown colour. Very light density. When washed, leaves yellow stains on fabric. Looks just like the stain from cigarette smoke. (When sprayed on white paper it makes it look just like parchment). This light shade works well as a highlight when used with the other darker brown colours.
Usage Instructions:
Ensure surfaces are dry and grease free.
Mask areas not to be sprayed.
Shake can before use.
Use sparingly, apply several fine coats rather than one heavy coat. The shade will darken with each coat applied.
Hold can upright 30cm (12 inches) away from the surface, and spray across the surface in one smooth sweep, keeping the nozzle fully depressed. Spots of concentrated dye may appear if the button is only partially depressed.
For small patches, spray through holes cut in a piece of paper.
For dark patches, spray closer to the surface.
Heavy spraying may drip or puddle.
Smear the spray by re-wetting with water, and then dabbing or rubbing with a damp or wet cloth. With some fabrics it’s easier to smear by wetting the sprayed fabric and then rubbing the wet area together between your hands. Smearing is easier when the spray is still wet, but is also possible after the spray has fully dried. It may not be possible to smear spray applied to absorbent surfaces.
May not adhere to some polished surfaces.
Our ageing sprays are water soluble and the effects of spraying will be lost by washing in water, but there may still be staining.
Do not use outside in wet weather.
Ageing spray may cause permanent staining. Test before use on off-cuts or hidden surfaces, and then wash to check for any staining.

The Windbubble PRO lav mic windshield consists of a soft rubber mount. Unlike hard plastic mounts this special rubber mount absorbs shocks and stops vibrations transferring to your mic’s capsule.
