The Cable Saver is an original invention and design by Bubblebee Industries that dramatically reduces the cost of repairs of Lavalier microphone cables, connectors and transmitters while at the same time reducing cable friction noise to a very minimum.
SO HOW DOES IT WORK?
Put your Lavalier microphone cable through one of the rubber eyes of the Cable Saver. Wind the cable tight around the middle 3-4 times and through the rubber eye in the other end of the Cable Saver. That’s it.
Now, if you drop the transmitter or the microphone cable gets caught in something, the cable saver will act as a spring allowing for a soft fall that will relieve the strain on your cable and save your equipment.
An added benefit is that the Cable Saver reduces the cable friction noise so drastically that the noise almost disappears. That means no more scratching and rattling noises when someone accidentally touches the microphone cable.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Each package comes with four Cable Savers – enough to save 2-4 microphones.
They are made of durable black rubber that always comes back to its’ original form. We suggest you mount The Cable Saver indoors and under calm conditions since it is a rather small object.

Rust ageing spray is a fine mist semi-transparent spray dye that makes things look dirty and old, or aged. Dirty rusty red colour. The spray is water soluble and can be smeared and reworked by wetting with water. Fast drying. Ozone friendly. Rust- rusty red / brown colour with shades of orange and yellow. Medium density and dries fast. When washed, leaves yellow/brown stains on fabric. Very good when used for shading. Good “reddish” dirt / rust effect. Usage Instructions: Ensure surfaces are dry and grease free. Mask areas not to be sprayed. Shake can before use. Use sparingly, apply several fine coats rather than one heavy coat. The shade will darken with each coat applied. Hold can upright 30cm (12 inches) away from the surface, and spray across the surface in one smooth sweep, keeping the nozzle fully depressed. Spots of concentrated dye may appear if the button is only partially depressed. For small patches, spray through holes cut in a piece of paper. For dark patches, spray closer to the surface. Heavy spraying may drip or puddle. Smear the spray by re-wetting with water, and then dabbing or rubbing with a damp or wet cloth. With some fabrics it’s easier to smear by wetting the sprayed fabric and then rubbing the wet area together between your hands. Smearing is easier when the spray is still wet, but is also possible after the spray has fully dried. It may not be possible to smear spray applied to absorbent surfaces. May not adhere to some polished surfaces. Our ageing sprays are water soluble and the effects of spraying will be lost by washing in water, but there may still be staining. Do not use outside in wet weather. Ageing spray may cause permanent staining. Test before use on off-cuts or hidden surfaces, and then wash to check for any staining.

The spray is water soluble and can be smeared and reworked by wetting with water. Fast drying. Ozone friendly. Grey – light grey colour. Very light shade, low density, subtle colour. Good for mixing with others or very light shading to just make things look slightly dirty. Several coats looks like one coat of Black (above). It is perfect for its use in TV or films, when the ageing effect needs to be washed completely. Makes a good “sweat” stain effect. Usage Instructions: Ensure surfaces are dry and grease free. Mask areas not to be sprayed. Shake can before use. Use sparingly, apply several fine coats rather than one heavy coat. The shade will darken with each coat applied. Dulling / Anti-Flare spray can be applied to mirrors or glass, metal, gloss paint and ceramics etc. Easy to remove; the water soluble spray can be wiped off non-porous surfaces by rubbing with a damp or wet cloth. It is both fast drying and ozone friendly. Tip: You can apply ageing spray over the top of dulling spray to create a matt finish ageing spray. Dulling / Anti-Flare spray looks like a fine layer of dirt on glass and can be smeared using a damp/wet cloth to create a patchy effect. Instructions for Use: The spray can must be at room temperature to work properly. For best results, store overnight at room temperature before use. Shake the spray can with the ball bearing rattling before every use. Use sparingly, apply several fine coats, not one heavy coat. Over application will reduce the dulling effect and may cause puddles. Best results are achieved when fine coats are applied. Ensure surfaces are dry & grease free. Mask areas not to be sprayed. Dulling spray may stain/damage some surfaces. Hold can upright 30cm (300mm) away from the surface, and spray across the surface in one smooth sweep, keeping the nozzle fully depressed. Spots of concentrated spray may appear if the button is only partially depressed. For small patches, spray through a hole cut in a piece of paper. Dulling spray is water soluble. The effects of spraying will be lost by washing in water. Do not use outside in wet weather. Practice your spraying technique on a disposable item before final use. Test before use on off-cuts or hidden surfaces/ off cuts for compatibility and adhesion. Available in 400ml sized spray.
