LEVEL-UP YOUR ON-SET COMMS AND CUES WITH THE SIDEKICK 3.
We've been listening and you're coming through loud and clear. The ultimate communications IFB ear-piece for comfort and speech intelligibility has been upgraded. The Bubblebee Sidekick 3 In-Ear IFB Monitor is a virtually invisible IFB cuing & communications earpiece designed to deliver a superior experience in invisibility, comfort and sound intelligibility, featuring the most advanced driver technology ever in such a small earpiece. The durable and resilient driver has been tested with up to 3 x higher tolerances than previous versions.
THE MOST ADVANCED IN-EAR DRIVER AROUND
The Sidekick 3 features a brand new driver offering increased performance while maintaining a high level of comfort for the wearer. This newly designed driver boasts an enhanced frequency response, allowing the user to hear cues and communications with greater clarity and definition, without the need for ‘traditional’, sometimes cumbersome, earpieces. A slightly lower impedance driver allows the user greater control of levels and can also be used with lower output devices, such as mobile phones, more effectively
FEATURES
INVISIBLE IN-EAR:The Sidekick 3 driver unit is so small that it is not visible when worn in the ear. It fits inside the ear canal.
NEW CABLE LOOP:Our unique cable loop guides the cable behind the ear, so that it is also hidden from sight, making The Sidekick virtually invisible when worn. You can now use the earpiece in either the left or right ear, your choice.
NEW DRIVER - LEVEL UP YOUR AUDIO:The newly designed driver boasts an extended frequency response, allowing the user to hear a more rounded, higher quality of audio. It’s tough and resilient, tested with up to 3 x higher tolerances than previous Sidekick versions.
VERSATILE VOLUME CONTROL:A lower impedance driver allows the user a greater range of volume control and can comfortably be used with a lower output device such as directly plugged into a mobile phone.
HIGH QUALITY ROUND SOUND:The “Round” eartip provides you with an increase in frequency definition in the lower frequencies, for a much more rounded sound.
CHOOSE YOUR CABLE:The Sidekick 3 Mono is now available with either a Curly cable (with strain relief) or a Straight Cable (no strain relief). The Stereo version is only available with straight cables.
DISCREET:The super low profile of The Sidekick 3 cable is 44% thinner than the first generation cable, with a diameter of only 33μm. The colour neutral cable easily blends into almost any background without being noticed on camera.
SONICALLY TRANSPARENT:The "Satellite" eartip allows you to hear your surroundings like normal while having crystal-clear cues and comms.
ADAPT TO YOUR ENVIRONMENT:The Sidekick 3 features three different types of eartips, allowing the user to adapt the varying levels of external ambience; The Satellite (high ambience), The Christmas Tree (low ambience) and The Round eartip (increased frequency definition).
INCREASED COMFORT:Wear your Sidekick 3 for 20 hours straight with no fatigue. It weights just 360 milligrams excluding the cable. The Sidekick 3 cable is 50% lighter than the first generation Sidekick cable, allowing for a virtually fatigue-free experience.
TOUGH & DURABLE:Using kevlar-reinforced cables, The Sidekick 3 is one piece from termination to driver and is made to last. The eartips are easy to clean and the driver's filter is easily replaceable.
UNIVERSAL CONNECTION:TRS minijack connector means compatibility with any wireless receiver, accessory or phone.
MADE IN DENMARK:Manufactured in Denmark with quality and comfort in mind by sound lovers, for sound lovers.
IMPROVED MICRO-DRIVER TECHNOLOGY
The Sidekick 3 features our best ever micro speaker driver solution, where the entire driver fits comfortably in the ear. This eliminates the need for acoustic tubes, resulting in practically invisible, crystal-clear cues, even in noisy environments.
With its extremely small and lightweight footprint, The Sidekick 3 is an excellent alternative to earwigs and acoustic tubes, able to be worn for up to 20-hour shifts with almost no fatigue to the wearer.

MOUNTING A LavALIER MICROPHONE IN CLOTHING OR COSTUMES AND ON THE BODY HAS JUST BECOME MUCH EASIER.
The Lav Concealer is a soft pliable mount that covers many different mounting options, moulding itself to the surface it is attached to. Because of it's rubber material, it also acts as a shock mount, protecting the mic capsule from vibration and absorbing friction noise to give you clearer sound recordings.
These innovative lav mounts fit the capsule perfectly and, along with making hiding the mic easier, protects it from a build up of glue which can result from repeatedly attaching tape directly to the mic. The Lav Concealers can be attached directly to skin or clothing using our Lav Concealer Tape. The tape is very strong, hypoallergenic and easy to apply, for mounting on fabric or skin without worry. It also includes a newly designed metal clothing clip and fabric guards, which can be applied in any configuration you like, depending on the mounting style.
It can also be sewn into costumes by the costume department for daily repeated use.
Compatible with DPA 6060 lavalier microphone.
Lav CONCEALER FEATURES
CREATES SPACE:Keeps material away from the microphone capsule in tight spaces under or in clothing, protecting the mic from friction noise and vibrations; making your recordings sound cleaner.
SHOCK ABSORBING:The moulded rubber concealer is made for excellent vibration and friction absorption, while the metal clothing clip and fabric guards prevent the transmission of vibration through the concealer to the microphone capsule.
COLOUR OPTIONS:Available in Matte Black or Matte White finish. The matte finish is non-reflective for discrete hiding.
WIRE FABRIC GUARDS:The removable wire fabric guard keeps fabric from touching the microphone capsule. The combination of wire and rubber materials acts as excellent friction absorption, cutting transmission of friction to the mic capsule.
EXTREME FABRIC GUARD:Also included is the new Extreme Fabric Guard; it moves the point of contact between the fabric and the guard, to a more central position over the body of the Lav Concealer . This can be used where the subject is wearing clothing which is made from a particularly coarse or noisy material. Both fabric guards can be used together, in lieu of the clothing clip, if the situation calls for it.
CLIP, TAPE OR SEWING MOUNTING OPTIONS:Provides many options for mounting lavalier mics on talent easily, effectively and quickly, many times under high pressure on sets.
ENVIRONMENTALLY SOUND:The Lav Concealer is made from 100% natural rubber, which is biodegradable and kind to the environment. The black and white versions don't use any harmful chemical compounds to achieve the colouring.
The natural rubber used in manufacturing The Lav Concealer is biodegradable, which the environment will thank you for. In terms of clarity, using a soft, pliable rubber means it absorbs more vibrations than harder materials (eg. plastic), preventing unnecessary noise from ever reaching the microphone capsule. The Lav Concealer includes two fabric guards and a clothing clip, made of sprung metal. These attach to the concealer in tiny holes on the front and back. Having two different materials operating in unison helps prevent friction or vibrations from being transferred from one to the other, and eventually to the capsule.
It moulds to your mounting style: Both the clothing clip and fabric guards are removable, and you can mount them on the front, back, top-side or bottom-side of The Lav Concealer. For the ultimate fabric guard configuration, use tape to attach the concealer and mount the Extreme fabric guard on the top-side of the Lav Concealer, with the regular fabric guard on the bottom, to lift the fabric off the entire concealer.
WHAT’S INCLUDED:
1x Rubber Lav Concealer (Black/White)
1x Metal Clothing Clip (Black/Silver)
1x Wire Fabric Guard (Black/Silver)
1x Wire Fabric Guard Extreme (Black/Silver) (Specific Models)
