At CineStore we are conscious of our relationship with the environment and are constantly exploring ways to reduce our carbon footprint, use of hazardous chemicals/substances and wastage.
When sourcing new products we carefully investigate the environmental credentials of all items and brands including products marketing themselves as eco-friendly alternatives.
We have switched 98% of our packaging to more environmentally friendly and recyclable alternatives. We reuse cardboard boxes from deliveries and seal them with paper tape as opposed to plastic. We take a localised approach to sourcing labour and materials, assisting in local economic growth and lowering our carbon footprint.
It is CineStore policy that we revisit our environmental commitments at least annually to keep up with environmental developments.
We’re proud of the environmentally friendly products we’ve been able to begin stocking, often replacing less sustainable alternatives and plan to increase this as the filmmaking industry increasingly prioritises sustainability.
